Teliki is sold!
Sold - no longer for sale.
Teliki is a 1992 Macgregor 26 swing keel sailboat. This model is the pure sailboat, not the hybrid motor sailor.
Six thousand dollars, hundreds of hours of work and eight years of cruising have created (what we think) the perfect trailerable mini-cruiser.
She sails extremely well with her new sail, 135 genoa on roller furling, high performance rudder, full width traveler and lines led aft. With her solar power, water system, multiple anchors and canvas she is also a self contained cruiser capable of staying "on the hook" for a week or more at a time.
Her custom woodwork, galley, tables, professional upholstery and dry storage make her a comfortable "home away from home".
At only 3500 lbs, a mini van can pull her to any exotic cruising location. And with a new marine axle, brakes, springs, tires, paint and wiring in 2013, she is a safe and relaiable tow. We just returned from Pensacola Florida, a 2300 mile round trip and she towes like a dream. We have also had her to the North Channel of Lake Huron numerous times, Parry Sound, Lake Nippissing and Lake Champlain - all without any problems.
Teliki is a true "sail away" boat - just hitch her up and go exploring.
Why are we selling her? Only because we bought the "next boat" and two boats is just too much work.
